The production of biodegradable mouldings from natural raw material comprises extruding cereal milling products, a mixture of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and phosphoric acid (H3PO4) as foaming agent and adding binder during extrusion. The extrudate is converted to a compact moulding by pressing.
