The programming method uses successive activation of the actuators of the controlled machine with time delayed resetting, with registration of the corresponding condition variations of the corresponding sensors, for determining the logic relationships between the sensors and the actuators. A programmable processor may be used for successive actuation of the actuators and registration of the sensor responses, with the actuators and sensors represented by respective display symbols on a monitor screen.
