Engine tester for the measurement and evaluation of operating functions, preferably with analog measurement signals of an internal combustion engine

The tester preferably uses analogue measurement signals which are connected to external terminals of the tester via a connection cable. The terminals are connected to inputs (21-32) of the motor tester (2). The inputs are controlled such that they are adapted to a respective applied measurement signal of the combustion engine (1). A connection matrix (33) is connected after the inputs (21-32). The matrix connects the inputs such that the measurement signals are connected to predetermined outputs of the matrix (33). The outputs are applied to function blocks (34,35,37,38) which provide measurement signals as a function for the measurement process. The measurement signals can then be further processed and analysed in the tester.
