Heat transfer detection and/or measurement unit. It is used to monitor and safeguard flow, and/or to measure it. It has a flexible component board carrying a circuit with electrical and electronic components. Included are a heating element and temperature measurement sensor with connector and casing. The heater and sensor are rod-shaped. The novel feature is the arrangement of the circuit board (1) as a pair of stacked halves (1a, 1b). Heater and sensor are located between these halves.
