Method and system for color coding the sizes of hangers and method for reusing hangers with size information

A method of reuse of garment hangers comprises shipping hangers to clothing manufacturers, assembling the hangers with clothing and indicia relating to the size, sending the hangers and garments to a store for sale, removing some of the hangers from the sold clothing and returning them to a reuse centre where the size indicia is removed and the hangers sent once more to clothing manufacturers. A system for colour coding the sizes of garments to be sold in a store is also disclosed (see Figure 6) wherein a uniform colour sizing code is used throughout the store so that a particular colour is always used for a particular size designation (eg S, M, L or equivalent waist and chest sizes) throughout different lines.
