Decor for surface design of sport equipment especially tennis racquets

The decor layer (1) which contains a motif is made from a prefabricated colour transfer made for example in a screen printing process. It is covered by a clear transparent varnish layer (3) and can be supplied on a carrier foil (2). The decor layer or varnish layer can have inserts which increase the elasticity. The thickness of the decor layer is between 0.01 mm and 0.2 mm. The decor layer and varnish layer can be applied to the surface of prepreg (4) material used to form the rough blank of the racket.
