Thermally insulating housing or frame for integrating solar thermal converters in building facades

Solar thermal converters are incorporated in building facades using a thermally insulating housing or frame (1), made of materials with low thermal conductivity, preferably mineral building materials, having coefficients of thermal expansion similar to that of the building facade. Flat sides and back allow the housing or frame to be integrated into the facade without gaps or thermal bridges when fastened by screws, adhesive, or plaster. A transparent cover (2) is fastened to the front of the housing or frame. Preferably, at least one solar absorber (3) is contained within the housing or frame, having a higher thermal conductivity than the latter.
