The chamber has a ventilator (13) located inside the chamber (1) above the door opening (12), along the whole width of the door opening. It consists of a ventilating fan or blower (14) which takes air from the room and blows it vertically down as cold air in the form of an air curtain (15). The air curtain covers the entire height and width of the door opening. The blower is actuated by a door switch when the door is opened. The switch turns on the blower as the door is unlocked, hence the air curtain is fully formed before the door is actually opened.
