The urinal (1), especially for women, has a urine catch surface (2) generally parallel to direction of urine flow direction in a sharp angle to the odour trap. At least the surrounding edge (3) at the urine trap surface (2) is lower than the remainder of the edge round the toilet pan (7). The upper outline of the toilet pan (7) is extended longitudinally, into an oval shape, with a tapering at the urine trap surface (2).
