New compsns. for vaccination against tumours and auto-immune disorders

A prepn. (A) comprises a culture of polymorphic microorganisms isolated from, and characteristic of, a particular patient in a nutrient medium. The microorganism-contg. prepn. used to inoculate the medium is recovered by processing a blood or tissue sample from the patient in a liq. medium, followed by complete removal of body cells, e.g. by filtration. More specifically the nutrient medium contains serum from the patient's own blood and the microparasites are isolated from blood haemolysate. Partic. the serum and microparasites are recovered from the same blood sample. The medium also contains an aseptically recovered embryonal protein extract.
