The invention relates to a closure head for fitting a screw closure cap onto a threaded container, having a rolling device which exhibits at least two rotatably mounted thread-rolling members which come into contact radially against the outer surface of the screw closure cap and, by virtue of a relative rotation between the closure head and the container, roll a thread onto the screw closure cap. It is provided that the thread-rolling members (11, 12) have differently sized radii (R1, R2) on their circumferential edges (15, 16).
