Device for position - and angular adjustment of the beam path in optical arrangements

The beam orientation assembly involves beam control optics (1) incorporated in an adjustable mounting (2) of e.g. aluminium. The fixed head (3) of the mounting is fixed to or built into the optical equipment, and its carrier section (5) is attached to the head by a waist (4) of reduced diameter. A central steel fitting stem (9) extending into the carrier bulk (6) but having radial clearance in the head is positioned by the three setting screws (11) in the collar (13), thus deflecting the carrier and associated optics within the elastic limits of the waist (4).
