PURPOSE: To provide a brushless self-excited three-phase synchronous generator which has a simple and strong rotor without a rotor exciting winding and uses all the space higher harmonic wave components of an armature reaction field and can have a single-phase output besides a three-phase output. ;CONSTITUTION: A first single-phase winding Wu is wound round a stator 2 and a second single-phase winding Wv and a third single phase winding Ww are wound in the same number of turns at places at 90° electric angles with the first single-phase winding Wu. One end of the first single-phase winding Wv and and a winding finishing end of the second single-phase winding Wv and a winding starting end of the third single phase winding Ww are connected to each other to form a T-connection. A stator exciting winding We is also wound round the stator 2 round which the main generating windings are wound. The stator exciting winding We is connected to intermediate taps u, v, w of the three-phase main generating windings Wu, Wv, Ww through a controlling and rectifying equipment 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
