The soln. contains (A) known reducing sugar, and opt. other energy suppliers and/or electrolytes; and (B) in absence of amino acids (salts), pref. 0.01-50, esp. 0.05-5 g/l, N-acetylcysteine as stabiliser. The soln. pref. contains 2.5-70% glucose and/or fructose. The further energy supplier is a polyol and/or disaccharide. A multi-chamber or multi-compartment system comprises a chamber contg. an amino acid soln. and a chamber contg. the nutrient soln.
