New material electrically conductive and substrate for a storage battery electrode of a bipolar lead / acid in the material

A composite material which conducts electricity, comprises a homogeneous mixture of: (A) a thermoplastic polymer material chemically resistant to sulphuric acid; (B) lead or lead alloy particles with particle size of 100 mu m or less; and (C) electrically non conductive mineral material with particle size of 100 mu m or less and chemically resistant to sulphuric acid. Also claimed are (1) A bipolar electrode substrate for a lead/acid storage battery, including the above composite material; and (2) A lead/acid storage battery with bipolar electrodes having a substrate as in (1) covered with active materials on its 2 surfaces.
