An apparatus for making models (1) in thermoplastic material, particularly wax, by precision injection moulding, comprises: (i) a pressurised container (3) holding the molten thermoplastic material (4); (ii) a mould (2) inside which vacuum is made, and held in position by a pressing mechanism; and (iii) an injector block (6) for feeding the molten material to the mould, and comprising a heating system (B) for the control and regulation of the temperature, a feed circuit (9), a vacuum circuit (10) of the mould, and for recovery of the thermoplastic material, means of control (11), and an injection head (12).
