A method of continuously sealing a closed or slotted drainage conduit (9) consists of using a flexible sheath (2), able to be inflated, having means allowing it to be anchored (14) to the adjacent concrete forming the conduit, by continuous gluing or mechanical securing; placing the sheath inside the conduit and flattening it against its inside wall, by inflating the sheath, to cause adhesion to the concrete; cut the sheath at the end of the slots (17) and/or the opening of the conduit to allow access to the inside of the conduit. Also claimed is the sheath being stretchable, flexible, mechanically resistant and having anchorage means. Also claimed is an installation device having a metal tube (5) through which the sheath passes into the mould (1). The tube is double walled and allows preheating of the previously glue coated sheath.
