Data transfer system for payment of road tolls or parking fees

The data is transferred from one location to another via an plastic token carrying an embedded electronic circuit. The token has a round shape similar to a coin. The data carried in the token can be read and modified remotely by a magnetic, electromagnetic or radio coupling. Power for the circuit inside the token is provided by this coupling. The data is processed simultaneously, with simultaneous acquisition and correlation of data identifying the user and data on the geographical location, providing cost informing for toll roads. The shape of the tokens allows their use, without any alteration, in a conventional coin toll collector which contains a reader specifically for the tokens.
