Micrometric standard for calibrating measuring instrument

The micrometric standard (1) includes a cylindrical rod (2) with two calibrating supports (3,4) transversal to the rod axis. Each support presents four plates (5), attached to one of its surfaces using a glue. The plates are made of a hardened material. The plates are positioned on the support surface following a circular pattern. The two supports present a central hole (8) which is engaged by a tube (7) made of carbon fibre. The cylindrical rod is inserted in the tube while two sleeves (9,10) are used to position the two supports.
