PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for feeding a rolled sheet for rapidly sending a sheet from the rolled sheet onto a platen in a short waiting time. ;SOLUTION: A sheet 10 is initially fed by continuously detecting a maximum value of an X-axis of coordinates stored in a buffer 90 by a detecting means 100, rewinding the sheet 10 from a rolled sheet 12 by an amount corresponding to (the maximum value + margin) of the X-axis by using a first control means 110, and sending the sheet 10 onto a platen 20 in an X-axis direction. If the maximum value of the X-axis continuously detected by the means 100 during forming of a diagram on a surface of the sheet 10 exceeds the maximum value of the X-axis used in the case of sending the sheet 10 onto the platen 2 in the X-axis direction before it, the sheet 10 is rewound from the rolled sheet 12 by an amount corresponding to (the maximum value + margin) of the X-axis by using a second control means 120 immediately before it, the sheet 10 is sent onto the platen 20 in the X-axis direction, and the sheet 10 is refed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
