MASTER-SLAVE SHIELD MACHINE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF SHIELD TUNNEL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master-slave shield machine, in which pipe jacking mechanisms can be simplified, while providing the construction method of a shield tunnel, in which execution efficiency and construction cost can be reduced largely by equalizing inside diameters and thinning only thickness. ;SOLUTION: The shield machine 10 has separably concentrically arranged master shield 12 and slave shield 14. The shields 12, 14 have a master skin plate 12a and a slave skin plate 14a. A cutter 16 is installed on the front end side of the plate 14a, and the cutter 16 has a cutter body 16a and expansion cutters 16b. Pipe jacking mechanisms for the master-slave shields 12, 14 are composed of a shield jack 36 worked in combination by these shields 12, 14. The master-slave skin plates 12a, 14a are constituted separably through locking mechanisms 42. The locking mechanisms 42 are configured of connecting jacks 42a mounted on the slave skin plate 14a side and the fitting sections 42b of the connecting jacks 42a set up on the master skin plate 12a side.
