PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for assembling and installing a heat recovery apparatus and a jig for assembling the heat recovery apparatus in a boiler capable of reducing a period of construction and elevated spot work when coils are installed. ;SOLUTION: A transportation frame 41 is formed by a method wherein six frame posts 43 are oppositely fixed on an upper surface of a post base 42 formed into a u-shape and connected with plurality of horizontal beams 44. Support beams 45 and spacers 47 are allowed to protrude to both sides of a space between left and right frame posts 43 and arranged on an upper part and a lower part of the left and right frame posts 43. A front partition wall 12 and a middle partition wall 13 are positioned by the support beams 45 and the spacers 47, and coils 25 are arranged between the front partition wall 12 and the middle partition wall 13.
