PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure strain in a structure body on the basis of displacement of the surface of the structure body. ;SOLUTION: Angular velocity sensors 1, 2 are stuck on the surface of a structure body 5. That is, the converting circuit 6 integrates angular velocities ω1, ω2, obtains deformation angles ϕ1, ϕ2, and operates the radius of curvature (r) of the steel frame 4 on the basis of the deformation angles ϕ1, ϕ2.
