(57) Abstract It regards the projection panel (52) and the liquid crystal display (LCD) projection system which has the illuminant (56) and the reflector (58). The projection panel the polarizer (64) and has with the reflected polarizer (62) which is provided on side of one side of liquid crystal display (LCD) and liquid crystal display is provided on other side. The reflected polarizer is lamination opposite (41,43) of double layer of contiguity material layer. Each one of layer opposite shows refractive index difference between contiguity layer of 1st direction of the reflected polarizer surface, 2nd direction of the reflected polarizer surface and between contiguity layer of perpendicular direction of 1st direction, does not show refractive index difference essentially. 1/4 wave length board (66) adheres to the reflected polarizer. The light ray from the illuminant passes the reflected polarizer, reaches to liquid crystal display, or returns to the illuminant according to degree of polarization of the reflected polarizer. Returning to liquid crystal display, it reflects the light which is reflected with the reflected polarizer, with the reflector. As by the fact that 1/4 wave length board and the reflector are used, the heat which joins to liquid crystal display is decreased, it is possible to reuse the light which was thought wasteful light.
