PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dehydrated oil low in water content and not contg. a muddy component by separating and removing the water in a crude oil to a high degree regardless of the properties of the crude oil and to increase the throughput even with a small-sized equpment by improving the treating efficiency. ;SOLUTION: Plural hollow-fiber membrane 2 each having a hydrophobic surface are arranged almost in parallel, and an oil collecting pipe 3 communicating with the inside of the membrane 2 is liquid-tightly fastened to at least one end of the membrane 2 to constitute a hollow-fiber membrane module 1 to be used. The module 1 is dipped in crude oil, the crude oil is pressurized against the membrane 2, and the dehydrated oil permeated through the membrane 2 is discharged from the oil collecting pipe 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
