METHOD AND UNIT FOR AUTOMATING PREPARATION WORK IN QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF VALUABLE METAL, AND AUTOMATING APPARATUS EMPLOYING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen burden on a worker in the quantitative analysis of a valuable metal by automating troublesome preparation work and to throw an accurate quantity of flux into a crucible. SOLUTION: The unit comprises an arranged throw-in plate 15, an electromagnetic feeder 17 for throwing flux into a crucible 20 by vibrating the throw-in plate 15, a conveyor 13 for supplementing the flux, and a hopper 10 for storing the flux. The flux on the throw-in plate 15 is thrown into the crucible 20 by vibrating the electromagnetic feeder 17 and then the flux is supplemented onto the throw-in plate 15 by means of a conveyor 13. The supplementing flux is fed fro the hopper 10 onto the conveyor 13 and the flux is thrown from the hopper 10 into the crucible 20 in two stages.
