PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably form a liquid/liquid interface and directly measure chemical species at the interface by rotating at high speeds two or more solutions of different specific gravities in a hollow container, and measuring a superthin film formed in a state while the solutions are separated in phase at a side wall in accordance with the specific gravities. ;SOLUTION: A measurement pipe of this apparatus is a hollow container of a material not influencing measurements, having a fix means at a head part which can be fixed to a rotary shaft of the apparatus. The material is preferably glass when an absorption spectrum, a fluorescence spectrum or the like is to be measured. A diameter of the hollow container is preferably as small as possible so long as it stabilizes the formation of a thin film, particularly, 5-20 mm. A speed of the high-speed rotation of the apparatus is one that enables the formation of the thin film stably to the measurement pipe and appropriately selected with a specific gravity difference of a two-phase object to be measured, a thickness of the thin film to be formed, etc., taken into account. Particularly, 3000-10000 rpm is preferred. The superthin film formed and separated in phase at a cell inner wall of the measurement pipe subsequent to the rotation is measured with the application of spectrometry, an electrochemical measurement method or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
