QUICK FORMATION OF COMPLICATED HOLLOW SHAPE USING LOST WAX METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly produce a casting of parts having perfect durability and functionality by using the same mold set. ;SOLUTION: This method is composed of a process for making a granular core assembly 10, in which one core surrounds at least one end of the other core and at least one of the hidden space is defined between these cores and mutually separated resins are combined, a process for making a mold set for receiving and holding the assembly to define a cavity for casting around and between the cores 11-13, a process for forming a wax original pattern for casting by pouring the liquefied wax into the cavity under controlled pressure to the constant, a process, in which the wax original pattern is used together with the assembly of cores 11-13 therein and a shell mold is formed around these and the wax is carried off from the shell mold and the metallic casting is allowed to be formed instead of the wax original pattern under such condition that the assembly 10 lays the original position, and a process for removing the whole core 10 from the casting by returning back the combination between core grains to the original state and forming freely flowable granular assembly under the gravity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
