PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an apparatus for cultivating Ganoderma lucidum Karst. or other mushrooms capable of preventing the invasion of pathogenic fungi by individual control of growing fungi in a housed state in each container body in a high growth yield, capable of activating the fungi with a negative voltage applied to the container body, producing the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. or other mushrooms in a short period, harvesting the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. or other mushrooms excellent in quality and having high merchandisc value and capable of mass-producing the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. or other mushrooms at a low cost with a simple structured container body at a low production cost, and a method for cultivating thereof. SOLUTION: This apparatus for cultivating Ganoderma lucidum Karst. and other mushrooms comprises container bodies 16 having a mouth part on the one end side and a culture medium for inoculating fungi such as the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. or other mushrooms thereinto, germinating and growing the fungi filled therein, plug bodies for detachably installed in each mouth part of the container bodies 16, a receiving shelf means 20 for housing ad arranging the container bodies 16, a temperature controlling means 26 for keeping the temperature of the periphery of the container bodies 16 at a temperature suitable for germination and growth to the fungi inoculated into the culture medium and a negative voltage generating means for applying a negative voltage to the culture medium and generated spores.
