PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge reservoir structure of the river water cleaning facility capable of completely removing accumulated sludge from the sludge reservoir without requiring increase of sludge removal frequency nor changing the height or the size of each sludge pit. SOLUTION: A sludge sucking pipe 20 is connected from the lower side with the center of a pit part 12 of a sludge reservoir 10 installed in a lower part of a river cleaning facility and a sludge recovery part 22 extended from the center of the pit part to the peripheral part of the outer circumference of the pit part is connected with the tip end of a pipe 20 inserted into the pit pipe 20 in freely rotatable manner. On the other hand, a funnel-like member 24 is installed from a sludge suction port 23 facing in horizontal direction in the sludge recovery part 22. While sucking accumulated sludge through the sludge suction port 23 and the funnel-like member 24 by keeping the inside of the sludge recovery part 22 at negative pressure by the sludge drawing pipe 20 by operating a suction pump 25, the sludge recovery part 22 is automatically rotated in the inside of the pit due to the suction force.
