BIRD DAMAGE PREVENTING EQUIPMENT UTILITY POLE CROSSARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install and secure a bird damage preventing equipment for ross- arms of utility poles on a cross-arm fixed at the upper part of a utility pole in safe and with favorable workability, even when current is on. ;SOLUTION: This bird damage preventing equipment B for cross-arms of utility poles is formed by installing a fixture 2 having a U-shaped side and bolt insertion holes 7, 7 formed in its upper piece 2b and lower piece 2c, on the underside of the body 1 of the preventing equipment. A crossarm A is fit in and secured between the upper piece 2b and the lower piece 2c through remote operation. Bolts 14 are inserted into the bolt insertion holes 7, 7 and nuts 15 are tightened to install the bird damage preventing equipment B for utility pole crossarms on the crossarm A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
