PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and shock-resistance by charging fine aggregate and an injection material including an asphalt emulsion in the voids of a joint part of a pavement constructed with a mixture for pavement having a wide size distribution and another pavement or the periphery thereof. ;SOLUTION: A pavement 2 using paving having a wide size distribution is constructed by using a mixture for pavement having a wide size distribution. An injection material 7 is injected in a joint part 6 of the pavement 2 using paving having a wide size distribution and an existing pavement 3 using paving having a narrow size distribution and the periphery thereof to fill the voids of the pavement 2 and the lacking corners 8 or cracks of the pavement 3 with the injection material. The material is injected by pouring, applying, scattering, etc. The charging thickness is adjusted by the adjustment of the viscosity or the injection quantity of the injection material. The material is charged only in the upper part of the joint part 6 and the peripheral part. The injection material 7 includes the fine aggregate and an asphalt emulsion and includes a hydraulic inorganic material when it is required. The percentage of voids of the mixture for pavement having a wide size distribution is 10-40%. In this way, the pavement covers an inferior durability of the joint part and the applicable scope of the pavement using paving having a wide size distribution can be greatly widened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
