PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magazine rack for preventing plate works from being removed and a stopper from failing in operation and a magazine rack device. SOLUTION: A magazine rack has two side plates 4 provided between an upper plate 2 and a lower place to place plural plate works 6 between two side plates 4. A stopper 10-1 is annexed to the end of the side plate 4 (41 , 42 ) to prevent the plate works 6 from being removed. The stopper 101 is mounted at the end of the side plate 4 in a freely open/closed manner and energized to the closing side by an energizing means 11 and controls 161 , 162 are protruded to the upper plate side to move the stopper 101 to the opening side while resisting the energizing means 11.
