PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal tightly pipeline opening easily using a simple structure. ;SOLUTION: A slot 8 is furnished in an outer cylinder 2 fitted to the inlet of a pipeline 1, and an inner cylinder 7 is attached to the tip of a rod 5 of an air cylinder 6 fixed to the center of a lid 4 which blocks the tail of the outer cylinder 2, and the inner cylinder 7 and outer cylinder 2 are fitted together by their conical surfaces 9 and 22, and the inner cylinder 7 is slided by the air cylinder 6. Thereby the outer cylinder 2 is pushed wider by the part with slot 8 and put in tight attachment to the pipeline 1 so that its opening is tightly sealed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
