PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct easy, prompt, positive, and neat binding and punching operations by inserting paper from the vertical direction, and aligning the bottom end of the paper by the fall gravity of the paper when the paper is bound by a stapler, or punched by a puncher or an awl. ;SOLUTION: This machine is integrally-formed out of a driving unit A involving a binding unit holder with a mechanism depressing a depressing handle (h) mounted on a skeleton through a rotating shaft s1 to move in the horizontal direction, and a binding unit B detachably-mounted on the driving unit A. By forming the inserting opening of the paper in the vertical direction, the paper to be bound is necessarily inserted from the vertical direction, thus it is possible to align the bottom end of the paper, using the fall gravity of the paper itself.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
