PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the transdermal permeation of a therapeutically effective amount of medicines by keeping the medicines that are incompatible to the transdermal permeation enhancer from the permeation enhancer for a long period of time before their application and mixing them, when they are applied. ;SOLUTION: (A) A pharmacologically active compound that has usually slow permeation rate, is unstable, when it is mixed with one or more permeation enhancers, and is regarded as to be incompatible to permeation enhancer, for example, (2Z,4Z)-3-methyl-4-(3carboxyphenyl)-5-[(1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,1,4,4,- tetramethyl)-6-anthracenyl]-2,4-pentadienoic acid and the like and (B) a transdermal permeation enhancer composition containing a transdermal permeation enhancer as menthone are housed, as they are kept physically separated from each other and they are allowed to permeate through the skin continuously or simultaneously, when they are applied to the skin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
