ARTIFICIAL VISUAL LENS, ARTIFICIAL VISUAL CAMERA USING THE SAME AND ARTIFICIAL VISUAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial visual lens suitable for simulating a retinal image at the time of wearing the lens of spectacles. SOLUTION: An artificial visual lens 3 corresponding to the optical system of an eyeball is designed based on the optical constant of paraxial area calculated by a Gullstrand precision model eye. This lens is composed of a fore group lenses 31 which have negative refracting power and are composed of lenses L1 and L2 , iris 32 and rear group lenses 33, which have positive refracting power and are composed of lenses L3 -L6 , in order from the side of an object. The positions of object side principal point and turning point of the artificial visual lens 3 can be set in the arrangement suitable for simulating the lens of spectacles and the eyeball. The image (retinal image) of the artificial visual lens 3 is picked up by a CCD 5.
