NETWORK CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING FLOW CONTROL BASED ON MICROECONOMICS, ITS METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed flow control technique based on microeconomics. ;SOLUTION: This system is constituted of the three parts of a switch, a network broker and a user. Among them, the switch provides flow control and originally performs pricing based on the demand of the resource to the resource so as to provide high resource using rate. The network broker is provided on the entrance of a network and functions as an agent relating to the user by monitoring a budget, a price and a request. The network broker uses the information and purchases the resource so as to maximize the quality of the service of the user. The approach is provided with merits in the points of distributing control, minimizing signal transmission, distributing Pareto- optimal resources, stabilizing the price and providing a high network using rate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
