EASILY PEELABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND TEMPORARY HOLDING OF DECORATIVE PIECE IN MOLD FRAME MEMBER FOR FORMING DECORATIVE SURFACE OF ENGINEERING WORK OR BUILDING WITH THE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition suitable for temporally holding decorative pieces such as tiles in a foamed polystyrene mold frame and further capable of being used as an agent for forming films for protecting the surfaces of glass, and to provide a method for temporarily holding the decorative pieces in the mold frame with the adhesive composition. ;SOLUTION: This adhesive composition comprises an agent A comprising 15-25 pts. of polyvinyl alcohol, 1-5 pts. of dextrin, 1-5 pts. of propylene glycol, 70-80 pts. of water and a proper amount of a dispersion auxiliary and an agent B comprising a polyisocyanate in an amount of 3-10 wt.% based on the agent A. The polyvinyl alcohol comprises a mixture of 5-20 pts. of highly polymerized polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerization degree of 1,000-2,000 with 1-20 pts. of low polymerized polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerization degree of 200-700. The adhesive 3 is allowed to exist between a depression 2 and a decorative piece 4 fit into the depression 2 to temporarily hold the decorative piece on the surface of a mold frame member for forming a decorative surface. The depression 2 is used for fitting the decorative piece thereinto and is formed on the surface of the mold frame 1 for forming the decorative surface of an engineering work or building such as a concrete structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
