PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solvent suppressing the swelling of a binder in the degreasing of a powder molded body, capable of obtaining the molded body free from defects such as cracking and swelling and moreover capable of completing the degreasing in a short time and to obtain a method for degreasing the powder molded body. ;SOLUTION: As for this method for degreasing a powder molded body, from the molded body of a mixture of a powder raw material capable of sintering and an organic binder, a part of the organic binder is extracted by using a solvent essentially consisting of naphthene and then, the remaining organic binder is heated and removed to obtain a good product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
