PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rescheduling device that automatically determines whether to effect rescheduling and performs rescheduling itself upon a malfunction in production facilities. SOLUTION: A rescheduling device 10, which is typically used in a factory in which plural production facilities #1, #2,... produce plural works, employs a malfunction detecting element 19 for detecting a malfunction in those facilities; malfunction history data 18 indicative of facilities where the malfunction detecting element 19 detects a malfunction, the downtime by the malfunction ad the cause of the malfunction; and a rescheduling part 11 for altering schedule data 14 if the downtime reaches a reference time by retrieving the malfunction history data 18 on the detecting time of a malfunction in those facilities and determining whether the same cause is stored or not, and comparing the downtime caused by the malfunction with the reference time 17 if the same cause exists in the malfunction history data 18.
