CANOPY OF PARAGLIDER USING THREE-DIMENSIONAL WING FORMING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a glide ratio and to allow easy carrying of a paraglider when disassembled by providing a canopy of a tapered wing using a three- dimensional wing forming member. ;SOLUTION: The canopy 1 is shaped as a tapered wing with an insertion entrance which can be opened/closed for a three-dimensional wing forming member provided under the canopy 1, then a three-dimensional wing forming member is inserted and fixed. This allows the flexible canopy 1 to be the formed as the tapered wing such that the glide ratio is improved, and at the time of storage, small three-dimensional wind forming members are stacked in a large three-dimensional wind forming member 11 by use of the difference in the chord length of the tapered wing. Further, the canopy and other accessories are structured to be stored in the smallest three-dimensional wing forming member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
