SPLICING METHOD AND SPLICING TABLE FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily splice and remove a photographic film with respect to a film leader. ;SOLUTION: A film splicing table 30 is provided with a projection for positioning the film leader and a hole 40 for regulating the insertion of the film. By using the table 30, the end part 15a of the photographic film 15 is inserted in a film fitting hole 12 and the perforation 15a thereof is locked to a catch 17. Since the leading edge of the film abuts on the bottom of the hole 40, alignment between the perforation 15a and the catch 17 is facilitated. Thereafter, an adhesive tape 45 is stuck to the surface of the film leader being an opposite side to a side where the leading edge of the film 15 comes out and the surface of the film 15. Thus, the film 15 is surely spliced to the film leader 10 by being locked by the catch 17 and being stuck by the tape 45.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
