PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set where an operation required to establish three-party communications is simplified. ;SOLUTION: A cordless telephone set consists of a master set provide with a central processing unit(CPU) 11A that controls communications by the control of a speech switch and a slave set to perform radio transmission/reception with the master set. The CPU is provided with a holding request discrimination means 3A that discriminates whether or not a holding request to hold the master set is present during an external line communication by the master set, a speech request discrimination means 4 that discriminates whether or not a speech request from the slave set is received when there is no holding request, and a three-party communication setting means 5 that makes communication among three parties, that is, the master set, the slave set and an external line when the presence of a speech request is discriminated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
