PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite base material for magnetic recording card, and a magnetic recording card using the same, wherein a reading error due to an unevenness which generates by the arrangement of a magnetism-sensitive fiber, is eliminated, and at the same time, forgery and tamper can be surely prevented from being performed by making the arrangement location and the random arrangement pattern of the magnetism-sensitive fiber unsensible from the outside. ;SOLUTION: For this composite base material, a sheet-body including a magnetism-sensitive fiber is laminated with a high molecular adhesive between two polyester based resin films, and at least one of the polyeseter based resin films resin an optical density of 0.3 or higher.
