PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide physical distribution warehouse design supporting method/ system, which can efficiently execute the basic design of a physical distribution warehouse, and to provide a recording medium recording a supporting program. SOLUTION: Data which a design operator selects from a data base where respective parameters in the existed physical distribution warehouse are previously stored is read and it is outputted/displayed (procedure 101). The correction of the design operator on displayed data is inputted (procedure 102 and procedure 103). The design plan of the layouts of the respective parts in the physical distribution warehouse is correspondingly generated and the design plan is plotted/displayed (procedure 104). A prescribed evaluation parameter on the design plan is operated and the operated results are displayed (procedure 105). The operated results on the plural design plans are sequentially stored (procedure 106) and they are displayed in a list so that they can be compared.
