TRANSFUSION/BLOOD TRANSFUSION HUMIDIFIER HAVING LIQUID PRESSURE DETECTING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the rupture of a heat exchange bag by providing a detecting means which detects the raising of liquid pressure in the heat exchange bag by the rotational movement of a movable-side plate and stops the transfusion to the heat exchange bag in a fixed-side plate in the end part in a counter-hinge side of the movable-side plate. ;SOLUTION: This transfusion humidifier is constituted of a fixed-side plate 1 and a movable plate 2 connected to the fixed-side plate 1 by a hinge 3 so as to be opened/ closed freely, and a liquid pressure detecting mechanism 4 which is a detecting means and a lock mechanism 5 are provided in end parts 1a, 2a in the counter-hinge 3 sides of the both plates 1, 2. The liquid pressure detecting mechanism 4 is constituted of a limit switch 7 and a shaft 8 which are provided in the end part 1a of the fixed-side plate 1. The lock mechanism 5 is constituted of a handle 17, a torsion coil spring 19, and a shaft 13. When the liquid pressure in the heat exchange bag 20 is raised, the liquid pressure detecting mechanism 4 and the lock mechanism 5 try to open the both plates 1, 2 by the swelling force of the heat exchange bag 20. In this case, the movable-side plate 2 is connected to the fixed-side plate 1 by the hinge 3 so that the end part 2a side of the movable-side plate 2 is externally and rotationally moved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
