PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the image deformation processing of the distortion correction of fisheye lens images in the case of attaching a fisheye lens camera at an optional installation angle, to accurately detect and extract a moving image such as a human body image and to highly accurately display it on a monitoring television or the like. ;SOLUTION: Images photographed by a fisheye camera 1-1 and a CCD image pickup device 1-2 are stored in a video memory 1-3, an image correction processing part 1-4 is provided with a constitution of combining coordinate transformation for correcting the installation angle of the fisheye lens camera and the coordinate transformation for correcting the distortion of the fisheye lens images and performing arithmetic operations and the fisheye lens images of equal area projection are mapping-transformed at a high speed.
