PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the restoration force characteristics of a column base and to further increase earthquake resistance by a method wherein a base plate is further firmly fastened by a level nut and an anchor nut through an anchor bolt after introduction of a tension as the advantages of a method to introduce a tension to an anchor bolt for fixing a column base are effectively utilized. ;SOLUTION: A column base fixing structure is formed such that An approximately horizontal base plate 5 with which the column base 6 of an approximate vertical structure is joined is fixed on a rise foundation 1 by an anchor bolt 2, on which no- bonding processing is applied, through a grout material 3 and an anchor nut 4, and a level nut 10 threadedly engaged with the anchor bolt 2 and making contact with the lower part of the base plate 5 and regulating the level of the base plate 5 is arranged. A deforming member 8 axially deformed by a given load exceeding the own weight of the column base 6 is located coaxially of the deforming member 8 between the base plate 5 and the level nut 10. In this case, a plain washer 12 having length in an axial direction shorter than the length in an axial direction of the deformation member 8 by a given amount is arranged between the base plate 5 and the level nut 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
