CHEMICAL SPRAYING APPARATUS MOUNTED ON RADIO CONTROL TYPE HELICOPTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduced the weight of a sprayer by a method in which chemical tanks are arranged under an airframe and on both sides of the airframe, the central parts of the tanks are narrowed, the driving devices of sprayers are installed in front of the tanks, and impellers are driven. ;SOLUTION: A chemical sprayer 15 mounted in the lower part of the airframe of a radio control type helicopter is constituted from chemical receiving tanks 2 which extend from the lower part of the airframe to both side surfaces and sprayers 5 attached to the lower parts of the tanks 2. The right and left tanks 2 communicate with each other through a duct part below them, and the sprayers 5 are connected to the lower part of the duct part through a partition valve device. The tanks 2 are formed in a V-shape in a front view to extend from the lower part of the airframe in the right and left directions in a front view along the side surface of the air frame, and the central parts in a front view of the tanks 2 are narrowed. In the sprayer 5, an impeller is fixed to the lower end of the driving shaft of a motor, and a chemical agent in the tank 2 is discharged by driving the impeller directly by the motor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
